I worked at the Fatted Calf in St. Louis from 1973 to 1975 while a student at St. Louis University. I started at the SLU location and ended at the downtown location two or three evenings a week. I remember working for Kathy at the downtown location. I even filled in at the Clayton location on a few Saturdays.

What a great burger! Especially with the Cheddar Burger!!!!

One of the burger cooks at the downtown store was named Wilie Mae - a great person.

Clary Redd (mentioned in the history of Fatted Calf) was one of my best friends in college at SLU.

I'll be in St. Louis in the near future and will try to visit the store in Clayton to revisit my fond memories of The Fatted Calf and the great burgers.
